My Story
I spent a decade painting the wrong way.
I started teaching myself to paint in 2014. For nearly a decade, it was little more than a weekend escape — and I painted without ever understanding why it felt so hollow. I had an art block I couldn't name, living in constant fear of not being good enough, ashamed to show my work.
Instead of facing it, I avoided it: telling myself painting was just a hobby, drifting toward other creative projects, keeping busy. I kept myself busy, kept having fun, and still felt empty.
It wasn't until 2024 that I finally stopped running and started seeking answers. I faced the fears I'd been carrying, stopped measuring myself against others, and began painting from a place of confidence instead of lack — focused entirely on finding my own voice.
That was when things shifted. That was when my real journey began. And I wrote this guide so yours doesn't have to take as long.

Painting is not a talent. It is a language, one we are all born speaking, until the world teaches us to be afraid of it.
